I happened to see yet another episode of Oprah Winfrey Show today. There were four or five people featured in this episode who really inspired me. Specially the kid named Anthony who survived brutal stabbing from his own father. It was really very touchy and when seeing the boy after that terrible incident which everybody believed that Anthony would not live, literally brought tears in my eyes. That innocent kid hugging Oprah and all those other firefighters and paramedics who were involved in that incident, the 911 operator and everyone else really inspired me. Another was a teacher who had a very strange disease and the way he dealt with his life and finally winning the best teacher’s award was awesome. I really learnt a lot. As always Oprah once again made me shed some tears.

I was so excited about the latest Linkin Park’s new video which was due to be premiered in the VH1 Music Channel. Recent Embarrassing Moment

I was in a typical thakali restaurant for a dinner with some of my friends. The place was not very different from some ordinary ones but the food they provided was simply superb a typical nepali dish. Before the daal and the bhaat were served I went to the basin to clean my hands. I never knew the tap was kind of automatic. I opened it and washed my hands. After having finished washing I tried to stop the tap but it wouldn’t stop, I tried several ways and I even banged the hose but the water still kept pouring. I was in trouble as the water was continuously flowing. I was looking at myself on the mirror above the basin, everything seemed to be dark. I turned pale due to embarrassment as I thought everyone was staring at me and no friends were near me to help me out. There was no stopping and when I tried the hard way by moving the cork to this and that direction to stop the water I thought I might break it. I finally gave up trying and let the tap run. I thought to myself that if the tap is left open some waiter would come up and stop it. As I was heading towards my table, a two or three steps forward from the basin the tap stopped. Wow it was a relief. Then I realized that I did not need to stop the tap. Haha

Friend In Need

A fight broke out between our college and a college near to ours which was related to a political issue. The whole college was mobilized in this brawl. We were pelting bricks at them and so were they. The traffic was totally halted in the lainchour street. There was a senior guy, a friend of mine and me in the front row of our group heading towards the group who was throwing stones at us and we too were throwing stones at them. One of my friend shouted “Cops run” I started to run. Just when I was about to run I felt something flowing through my cheeks. I took my hands where I felt something flowing and I found that I was bleeding. I was already hit by a stone. I never knew when I was hit and finally I came to know that I was hit right above my eye and I was bleeding very hard. My shirt was full of blood and my cap as well. On knowing that I was bleeding I then almost lost consciousness. Upon seeing this a friend of mine with whom I was not talking because of a very small dispute shouted at me “hey what happened?” He then covered me and took me to the hospital where I had some stitches. This incident taught me the true value of a friend. Had he not helped me, the situation could have been anything perhaps I could have died.
