Asterix And Obelix

These are yet another famous characters in the comic world. They come from a small village yet the most powerful. The rivalry between them and the roman is always there and fresh as ever. Asterix is an old man very intelligent and Obelix is an enormous sized man who just loves to fight and feasting on wild boars. If any mission has a lot of brawls which includes especially those romans then Obelix would be more than happy to take the mission. On every rumble Asterix consumes his magic potion created by their own wizard of their neighborhood. After each successful mission accomplished they gather for a feast in their village. There is another important character in this lineup Cacophonix with a harp every time who when sings brings misery and panic. No one can tolerate his melody and songs. Everyone runs to and fro when he starts singing and he is always tied to a tree with his mouth taped so that he won’t be able to sing and the party is not messed. The characters portrayed in the books match the story very much. The facial expression of anger, joy etc is carved in the pictures with astonishing effort. They also have a large number of publications which again I have not got the opportunity to explore. In some times ahead I am looking forward to own all the issues of these characters.

Tintin

One of the worlds’s most preferred character in comic world is Tintin. He is a bald headed boy always accompanied by his pet dog Snowy. In times of trouble and in fun Snowy is always there with Tintin. There have been many publications on Tintin’s character but haven’t got to read all of them. I have read some like Tintin in Tibet in which he also comes to Kathmandu which is really fascinating. Tintin on the Moon, Tintin In North America and some others which I don’t really remember. Tintin is not a person having supernatural powers but a very normal human being. He does very great heroic work sometimes knowingly and sometimes unknowingly. Whatever he does it brings out a good result. Sometimes he gets into very worse circumstances that keep my jaws wide open and somehow he gets over it. The excitement created is just unexplainable. The character became very popular that Hollywood brought it into big screen through animated movies. For me it did not bring the same amount of joy and pleasure as I got through books. The animated movie was just a waste. Going through the book is more enjoyable. I don’t know the real story of who created the character but its awesome and they are highly credited by me.

Caterpillar Boots

The most comfortable and trendy boots is none other than the Caterpillar Boots. I had a pair or caterpillar and kept on putting it on until I tore it out. In my opinion there is no better boots than the caterpillars. The color is the best thing you find in Caterpillar boots. The durability of these boots is long and it is good for every occasion say for a rough as well as formal get ups. There are some big names in the world of boots like the Dr. Martins, Timberland, Couber-G and Carterbilly among the top ranked but I prefer only the Caterpillars. The first cut is the deepest; I had a pair of caterpillars and haven’t tried any other so Caterpillars are the best to me. They come in a wide variety of models, with or without steel toes, full as well as half, party shoes, sandals and lately they have also come up with canvas shoes. Those canvas shoes are also very nice and can compete with the Vans, Addidas, Fila or the Puma. As far as I have heard, the caterpillar shoes were specially made for the people working in mines and huge constructions. The company which builds vehicles like trucks, cranes, dozers started manufacturing and designing shoes for their people. Gradually it became so popular that it had to be commercialized. Till then the caterpillar boots have no turning back and they rule the world of shoes. All in all there is no better boots than the Caterpillars. Go get a pair and find it for yourself.

Late Glenn Kawesch, MD

A very good LASIK eye surgeon Glenn Kawesch, MD was not just a good surgeon but a very intriguing and charming individual as well. Glenn Kawesch, MD who had done his magic to the greats like Jessica Simpson, Taye Diggs as well as former San Diego Padres and Chargers players was a high profile California surgeon. He was found dead in Cancun, Mexico and no conclusions have come up about his death. His death has caused a huge loss in the medical field where he had served as a LASIK eye surgeon. Probably this place called earth has a very little room for such big and nice people so he left. May his family get the courage to face the death of Glen Kawesch, Md and may his soul rest in peace.

Maximum Retail Price

Every manufacturer or stockiest analyses the cost of a unit and determine the maximum retail price. The cost includes the cost of raw materials, carriages, taxes, commission and wages. The total of these costs is then added to a certain profit margin which the producers want to earn. Thus a maximum retail price is determined. In a market like Nepal where the general consumers are unaware of MRP, gets cheated. Same product of the same brand has different price labels tagged in different shopping malls which make the consumers more confused, and sometimes the price of certain products can go beyond the MRP. In developed countries the final consumers are obliged to compare between two brands regarding the maximum retail price whereas in our market people have to compare the maximum retail price of the same product of the same brand and made.

In underdeveloped countries new product is launched or imported and given to distributors or dealers to sell them in the market. Some of the products have a high gap between the maximum retail price and the dealer’s price and some have a very small gap. If the gap is very small then the consumers are benefited and vice versa. Dealer’s price is that price which is given to the distributors or the stockiest or dealers by the manufacturing companies. Here in Nepal most of the final consumers are always cheated because there are very less manufacturing companies and everything has to be imported. The importer gets the maximum out of it.

Maria Sharapova

Russia is such a place which generates so many beautiful tennis players. Anna Kournikova was the first of them all whom I knew. The looks she had is awesome. She is really very beautiful. After that the recent player who is in the spotlight is Maria Sharapova. I had seen her very first grand slam title victory. As soon as she won the title she took out her cell and started talking. This was her first grand slam I guess. I don’t remember who was playing on the other half of the court against her. Unlike Kournikova, Maria is not just beautiful but she has a good game too. I have seen her losing the final of grand slams to Justin several times yet she is a good tennis player. Currently she is the number one seeded player succeeding Kim Clistzer. It is not necessary to describe her physical beauty but I can resist without talking about her game. She is the best to me. There are so many beautiful tennis players from Russia. Elena Dimienitva is also one of them. But for me Maria Sharapova stands tall among all including the rest of the players form other nations as well.
