My View On Board Games
Board games had been famous from decades as indoor games among adults and young ones. They have been in existence form decades
Board games comprises of simple games like snake ladder to tough strategically games like chess, carom board, Chinese checker, dominoes, ludo and scrabbles to name some. Billiard and pool can be names as some of the glamorous board games poplar among adults. In my country we have one board game named bagh chaal’ which is alike Chinese checker in some way.
Now, board games have their own characteristics for example they cannot be played solely. Usually they are played in two or in group. They need concentration and planning or precisely strategy for an instance in chess. They are non violent contact games this might be the reason why these games are made available in schools and in households by teachers and parents.
However to some they might be boring and dull as they are not as physical like football or cricket. However we cannot say less exciting. As for me chess and scrabbles are more exciting nag engaging than football or cricket. But they have their own virtue for example for elderly peoples board games might be ideal .for example in nursing homes and residential homes they seem to enjoy bard games like dominoes, snake and ladder.
In conclusion board games are popular indoor games .they are safe games and someone who don’t like noisy games and like games which includes concentration and strategy this is ideal. However place of board games are being replaced by video games slowly.
