The Expendables

Sylvester Stallone comes up with a movie called “The Expendables” an action packed movie with the cast that would hardly appear in any movie. The stars include Steve Austin, a cocky guy in the world wrestling entertainment, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Gary Daniels and Jason Statham who are frequently seen in the Hollywood Box Office. Apart from these Hollywood stars, there are some other characters which include deadly MMA fighters and Randy Couture is one of them.

The plot is not much of a unique one, but it is based upon a missionary team who are hired to take down a drug lord. The action sequences are thrilling and there aren’t any flaws. Unlike Rambo IV, this movie has all the ingredients. The brilliant idea that Stallone came up with this movie is that, he has mixed comedy very beautifully. The life taking threatening and argument among the members of the missionary team is beautifully scripted.


There is no guarantee of seeing these many Hollywood stars working on a single film and that is the main reason why “The Expendables” is a must watch movie.
