Killing Of Whales
As I was watching CNN, there was a short program related to dolphins and whales. It showed that some of the nations in the world are still hunting whales, the list of the countries include Japan, Norway and Iceland. I term the killing of whales a disgusting act. The footages shown were pretty nasty, where poachers were shown to sail behind whales and shoot them with an arrow tied to a string. Seeing the whales running away was a very bad thing and at that time, I requested one the dais who was holding the remote to switch over to some other channel. I couldn’t see any more of those killings.
I still remember, it was about a couple of years back, someone had specially dedicated a blog to raise awareness against the killing of whales. I too posted an article in that blog and there were many people from around the world supporting the cause. But after a long time of about two and a half years, the footage I saw on the CNN proved that human beings are selfish and they will never learn. It’s been more than two years and people are still killing whales.
Why aren’t the powerful nations showing any concern in this issue?
