So Long My Friend

One year is not a long time and after a year from now I would be bidding you a farewell. In due course of life you meet so many people and only few would establish themselves in your heart and mind. This time around I met a person not long ago though, who has made a strong mark in me. If I ever had to pick up a particular reason I would not be able to do so but the mark has been made and there is no erasing it. The weird fish in the Himalayan times, the moon, the Korean movie and perhaps everything would remind me of you. The picture that was printed in the Himalayan times which had you dancing in a man’s outfit is still in my album. Your presence has made a lot of difference in my life which I regard as a boon I should say. The person who put a spell on me is now leaving for abroad and probably the road maneuvers right here with a different destination. I doubt that if I could meet my friend in the future. You say you would still be here for a year but for me one year passes away in a blink of an eye. If only I could elongate a year by a decade. One year from now I would be having a fake smile of joy in my face and saying all the best, keep in touch and bye……
