Me Salutes Mr. Mahabir Pun

There are very few people who are willing to serve their society or nation. I have only heard a name of a person of the above mentioned category and its Mother Teresa. For a place like Nepal it is a boon to have someone like Mother Teresa. Recently though a man came into the limelight and he is no lesser than Mother Teresa. His name is Mahabir Pun awarded by Myagaseysey Award which is like a Nobel Award of Asia.

The hard work done by him could merely be gone with the wind had not he received the Award. I personally just came to know about his work only after he received the Award. It is very ridiculous and the Medias are to be blamed. They should have covered all his work before being awarded. Had not he been awarded, those cheap Medias would have never reached him or interviewed him or organized some appraisal programs.

I don’t want to write much about him besides these few facts as I came to know after hearing his interview in some radio station. He is from a very remote village in Nepal called Nagi in Myagdi district. He went to America and pursued his further education. Instead of going for the materialistic fortune he returned back to Nepal and started something jaw dropping project. Another very heart touching fact is that his friends are helping him for everyday needed bread and butter. He could have been a billionaire if only he would have wanted but he chose the other path of serving his nation. I have no words to express my respect and gratefulness to this honorable man. I salute Mr. Pun and appeal to all others as well to take off your hats whenever you see this honorable man walking around. If you are really interested in his jaw dropping project you got to search the internet and find it on your own.
