Innings Of The Century

The final match between Australia and South Africa saw some great heroes in the world of cricket. The highlights of the match were Mark Boucher, Hershelle Gibbs, Grame Smith the skipper from South Africa and Ricky Ponting with Mathew Hayden, Michael Clarke from Australia. But for me the highlight was Van Der Wath a part time batsman who should be credited as well not neglecting the contribution of other South African batsmen though. Van Der Wath when came into bat the teams position was really bad and he scored 25 plus runs just facing 12 balls or so which helped the Proteas to overcome a big run rate. So as for me the inning of the century goes to the name of Van Der Wath of South Africa in the cricket history.
