Man U thrashing AS Roma

This is the second time I have seen Manchester United thrashing its opponent in the champions League. The previous one was the one played against Anderlecht scoring 5 goals to nil. This time around the score got more devastating against the mighty AS Roma. The final score was 7-1 in favor of Manchester United. This is a humiliating loss for the Italians. Not every loss is as humiliating as this one. The first leg was won by Roma with a very narrow margin of 2 goals to 1. The second leg produced eight goals played at Old Trafford. Five players of Man U scored goals in this match. Ryan Giggs though came out without a goal to his name but did involve in creating goals. The man of the match for me is Ryan Giggs in that match. The environment outside the Old Trafford Stadium was troublesome before the match kicked off. There was a riot between the Man U and the Roma fans. After all Manchester United is awesome as they are on the verge of repeating the feat that they achieved in 1999, three titles in a season, The FA Cup, The Premiership Title and The Champions League.
